NC OSFM SMOKE ALARM GRANT
The Yadkinville Volunteer Fire Department is proud to partner with the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal's Office to provide smoke alarms to the public, free of charge. The goal of the program is to reduce fire deaths & injuries by providing smoke alarms in high fire risk areas. Using local data, fire departments should locate high fire risk areas in their communities to provide education and long-life smoke alarms.
The grant requires recipients to complete a questionnaire and permit proper installation by fire department personnel.
